This will be Martin Simpson‘s fifth visit to the Goose, and tonight he will be performing solo.
We can’t imagine that you need to know much more about Martin other than the fact that you probably need to get your tickets quickly, but hey if you do,
The Shackleton Trio (formerly The Georgia Shackleton Trio) play an exciting blend of Americana, folk and self-penned material. Accompanying herself on the fiddle, Georgia writes and performs ‘wordy songs about other people’, instrumentally influenced by British, American and Scandinavian folk traditions, with a regional twist from her native East Anglia.

Ian, Sarah and Adrian are 3 local singers and instrumentalists who met at the Dulwich Folk Choir. They are Goose is Out! regulars, performing at Club Nights and Singarounds. As a trio, they toured artists’ venues as part of the 2017 Nunhead Art Trail with their traditional repertoire of songs and tunes.
Singing unaccompanied harmony, Sarah and Ian have supported Thomas McCarthy and Ewan McLennan and performed more widely as members of Gentlefolk. They regularly contribute music to Solstice Shorts in Greenwich and other poetry events.
SORRY, THIS CONCERT IS SOLD OUT (as of 29 August)
As far as we are aware, all the advance tickets were sold online and not via The Ivy House. If you have tickets which you can’t use, please reallocate them to friends or relatives via the WeGotTicket site system.
Please don’t contact the Goose asking if there are any tickets available, as there will be no allocation system apart from the WeGotTickets system above, sorry. The previous system involving lists was too much additional work for those concerned.
We had been flagging up for some time that this concert was likely to sell out, so if you didn’t get your tickets in time and are disappointed, why not subscribe to our newsletter via the link on the right of this page, to get early news of all forthcoming concerts and the ticket situation!
