‘…living proof of how fresh, vigorous and abrasive an acoustic songwriter can and should be in the 21st Century.’ – Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music
Russell Joslin is a singer/songwriter based in North London. He grew up in the countryside of Wiltshire before moving to London and quickly found himself the solo support act to much larger touring bands such as The Early Years, Scouting for Girls and Dot Allison.
His first album ‘Dream Token’ was released in 2009 and was received by the press as ‘an album of eloquent beauty’ (ThisisfakeDIY.com) and ‘a much needed gust of fresh air into the British folk scene’ (Subba-cultcha.com).
His next album ‘Jet Black And White’ was released 2011.
After a 2 year period of work with 3 piece rock band High Windows, Russell’s third solo album, ‘Harlequins’ was released in 2015. His latest album “Hey Mathematician” was launched in August 2017.
