Storywheel are an acoustic duo formed in 2013 by singer-songwriters and oud players Patricia de Mayo and Keith Clouston.
Drawing on folk music of the British Isles as well as world music influences from the Middle East and North and West Africa, Storywheel create a unique and coherent musical fusion. Their original songs explore the personal and political dilemmas of the contemporary world and their new and surprising arrangements of traditional folksongs highlight parallels with the past.
Their debut EP I Crossed The Sea was released in September 2015, and received excellent reviews.
