COMING UP IN NOVEMBER!
SINGAROUND – SUNDAY 10 NOVEMBER
Do come to our Singaround on 10 November! Everybody is welcome, to sing or to listen.
Door 7pm, Singing starts 7.15pm prompt and ends by 10.30pm at the latest.
If you would like to sing, please put your name on the list at the door when you arrive (or at any time during the evening if you feel the urge!).
Singers will be called in the order on the list to sing one song. We start again when we reach the end of the list (if there is time), so if you want to sing, you are more likely to get more than one song during the evening if you are there early!
Please note that The Ivy House stops serving its yummy food (there is a fantastic new chef!) at 6pm on Sundays.
BELINDA KEMPSTER & FRAN FOOTE – THURSDAY 14 NOVEMBER
Every cloud has a silver lining, and it’s very silver in this case!
Many of you will know Fran from Stick in the Wheel, and tonight she sings with her mother Belinda. Both of them are from Essex, and both share songs from their family history of farming and working on the land, with no frills or fuss.
Door 7pm, Live music starts 8pm. Ends 11pm.
Unbooked floorspots welcome, just put your name on the list at the door (best to get here soon after the door opens to be sure of a spot!)
This will be our last Thursday club night for the foreseeable future, so do come down and give our club nights a good send off!
SCOTTISH NIGHT WITH CAROL ANDERSON, FINDLAY NAPIER AND IONA GRACE FYFE – FRIDAY 29 NOVEMBER
We are delighted to have three very different joint headliners tonight, all excellent and all hailing from Scotland!
Carol Anderson is an absolutely brilliant fiddler and if you have seen her before, at the Goose or elsewhere, we are sure you will be rushing to snap up a ticket for tonight!

Winner of Scots Singer of the Year in the Scots Trad Music Awards 2018, Iona Grace Fyfe is one of Scotland’s finest young ballad singers, rooted deeply in the singing traditions of the North East of Scotland. We are also welcoming her to the Goose for the first time.
