We are delighted to be welcoming Thomas McCarthy back to the Goose!

Thomas comes from a long line of singers and musicians who have kept the tradition of singing strong within the Irish Traveller community.  He now knows over a thousand songs,  and since 2021 he has set about collating a repertoire of this fabulous part of Traveller heritage.  He was named the Traditional Singer of the Year in the Gradam Ceoil Awards 2019.

Ann Shrieves is a singer of mainly traditional Irish ballads. She is a natural storyteller,  and a  regular visitor to our singarounds. 

Ian Kennedy & Sarah Lloyd (aka Sarah Lloyd & Ian Kennedy lol) will be well known to many of you who live in the areas around SE15. Their beautiful harmony singing has gone from strength to strength since they came to our very first singaround (2010, we think. Crikey!) in a tiny bar in what is now a very gentrified East Dulwich pub.  

At The Ivy House, London’s first community-owned pub.

Tickets are £15 advance, £17 on the door (cash or BACS only) 

Door 7pm. Live music starts 8pm and finishes 11pm.

This concert will be half seated, half standing, so come early if you want to be sure of a seat!

Please be aware that whilst our events are held in The Ivy House's  beautiful Grade 2 listed ballroom, this is a pub, so there may be some  background noise from adjoining bars, although we and the pub management  have done our best to minimise this.
