Fifteen Days is the moniker (his expression, not ours!) of songwriter Darren Plant.
Hailing originally from the Midlands, and now ensconced in London, Fifteen Days have (does he clone himself?) been performing on the London folk circuit for the last few years.
His (their?!) latest EP, The Oldest Lie, is a solo recording, with the songs arranged around sparse finger picked acoustic guitars and subdued vocals. Recorded in a flat in North London, the production of the EP exudes an air of loneliness and contemplation (it says here), with the songs containing lyrical themes dealing with the experience of grieving and celebrating life anew.
